One clarification I need to make about the title of this blog: when I say "My Fall In Florence" I am referring to the season, not any of the other types of falls that might occur while I'm there. I'm sure some of you were already thinking it... let's keep it clean, people. Though if any other types of falls do take place, I will be sure to detail them here. That is, after all, the point of this whole thing.
So one month from right now I will be settling into my tiny little Italian studio apartment after what will hopefully be a smooth and uneventful trip. Getting very excited but also hoping that I can accomplish everything I need to between now and then.
That's the hard part. I need to pack my apartment, write a paper for the master's program, train for this crazy triathlon I'm supposedly doing in 3 weeks (yikes), learn Italian.. and oh, maybe try to do some work from time to time. Right. But knowing that Italy waits at the other end of all of it makes it somewhat more manageable.
Thanks to my sisters for suggesting this blog idea. I hope it will be entertaining or at least interesting and I feel sure that I'll have plenty of stories to tell over the next 4 months. Stay tuned!!
Hey Maggie Can't wait to read about all your adventures. Enjoy the anticipation. Susan
